Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

Can't Find Developer Options?

Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > click your Fire TV Stick name 7 times rapidly. A "You are now a developer" message appears, and Developer Options will show up in the menu.

Install the Downloader App

Downloader is a free utility app that lets you download and install APK files on your Firestick.

  1. From the home screen, select the Search icon (magnifying glass)
  2. Type "Downloader"
  3. Select the Downloader app by AFTVnews (orange icon)
  4. Click "Get" or "Download" to install
  5. Wait for installation to complete, then click "Open"

  2. In the URL field, enter the download link provided in your activation email
  3. Click "Go" — the APK file will download automatically

  6. When prompted, click "Delete" to remove the APK file and save storage space

Firestick IPTV Troubleshooting

Restart your Firestick by holding the Select + Play/Pause buttons for 5 seconds. Clear the IPTV app cache (Settings > Applications > ZentivoIPTV > Clear Cache). If buffering continues, test your internet speed — you need at least 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. Switch to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network if available, or use the Amazon Ethernet Adapter for the most stable connection.
This usually means insufficient storage. Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Storage and check available space. If it's below 500 MB, uninstall unused apps. You can also clear the Downloader app cache. After freeing space, try the installation again.
Unpair and re-pair your remote: hold the Home button for 10 seconds, then release. Replace the batteries if the LED indicator is dim. If using a third-party remote, ensure it's compatible with your Firestick model. For lag during IPTV, the issue is usually the stream, not the remote — try a different channel to test.
